True Honey
True Honey Tea is a tea brand known for their combination of honey granules and tea leaves into a single sachet, an innovative approach to tea that creates a balanced flavor and has become a hallmark of the brand. The brand was thought up by Chris Savage and his family who continue to run True Honey Tea today.

Logo
My approach to rebranding was to refine the color, pattern, and illustration to create an airy, relaxed, and mature packaging aesthetic. In creating a new logo, I drew an elegant letter “t” to represent the brand initials and their product, tea. This simple form lent itself well to the upscale aesthetic I was aiming for.

Form
I wanted to inspire an interactive experience between the package and consumer, taking the packaging from flat plastic bags to cylindrical glass containers. The grit of the frosted glass is contrasted by the ridged paper label, which differs from the smooth tin lid. All the materials used throughout each product are fully sustainable and recyclable while lending a sophisticated aesthetic to the brand.

Identity

Thinking
The challenge for this project was to create a visual and physical experience of True Honey Tea that better fits its premium quality, flavor, and price. I elevated the brand by designing new packaging forms, using sustainable materials, and applying a cohesive brand identity to each of the True Honey products.
